Zopper was formed in 2011 by Surjendu Kuila. The company is headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, with presence in over 1,200 Indian cities.

 

Zopper works with insurance providers and creates byte-sized, personalized products that it then supplies to distribution partners. Zopper helps B2B and B2C organisations to offer insurance products and provides end-to-end technology and service offerings to insurance companies.

 

Zopper partners with their distribution channels throughout the entire lifecycle of their insurance strategy – right from Product Solutioning and API-driven SaaS integrations to Sales Enablement and Claims Management.

 

Zopper has partnered with over 150 players in the industry, including retail group Amazon, ride-hailing startup Ola, retail chain Croma, phonemaker Xiaomi, Japanese conglomerate Hitachi, and Equitas Small Finance Bank.

 

Zopper is backed by Tiger Global, Bessemer Venture Partners, Creaegis, Blume Ventures, ICICI Venture, Nirvana Venture Advisors, and others. The company raised $75M in Series C round on Sep 20, 2022. This brings Zooper's total funding to $100M to date.
