Verily was formerly a division of Google X until 10 August 2015, and become an independent subsidiary of Alphabet in Oct 2015. The company is headquartered in South San Francisco, with multiple offices worldwide.


Verily is focused on generating and applying evidence from a wide variety of sources to change the way people manage their health and the way healthcare is delivered - shifting the paradigm from “one size fits all” medicine to one focused on a more comprehensive view of the individual that leads to a more personalized path forward.

This brings Verily's total funding to $3.5B to date. The company didn't disclose its valuation for the latest round but was last valued at over $10M from a funding raised Dec 2020
