Teraki

Teraki is the leading supplier of edge processing software for the Automotive and IoT industries. It is a key driver for scaling of Insurance, Predictive Maintenance and Autonomous Driving Applications by enabling access to more qualitative data.

Teraki's technology makes applications and algorithms run highly efficiently, faster and at the highest accuracy.

Teraki was founded in 2015 by Daniel Richart and Markus Kopf. The company is based in Berlin, Brandenburg, Germany, with offices in Japan and South Korea.

Teraki's edge data processing technology processes edge data 10X more efficiently and 10X quicker. Teraki's embedded software operates in CPU & RAM-constrained hardware and delivers data optimized for machine learning applications. Accuracies of the models are enhanced by 10-30%.

Teraki processes all telematic, video and 3D point cloud signals using an ultra-low footprint for its embedded software. The technology is deterministic and can hence be certified for safety related applications. The Teraki DevCenter automates the continuous training and updating of signal processing, ensuring the models maintain the highest accuracy and efficiency during the full life cycle of a car.

Teraki is backed by Horizons Ventures, State Auto Labs Fund, Bright Success Capital, Castor Ventures and others. The company raised $11M (£9M) in a Series A financing on Dec 17, 2019. This new round brings Teraki's total funding to $16.3M to date.
