TaniHub

TaniHub is a B2B agriculture marketplace that connects farmers with food, hotel, restaurant & catering business people.

TaniHub Group operates three business arms: online food marketplace TaniHub, peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform TaniFund and supply chain services unit TaniSupply.

TaniHub was founded in 2015 by Ivan Arie, Oki Setiawan, Michael J Sugianto, and Pamitra Wineka. The company is headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia.

TaniHub's mission is to empower farmers while building an innovative, reliable and user-friendly technology for all stakeholders.

TaniHub's e-marketplace allows consumers to buy fresh produce directly from farmers, while the P2P platform provides farmers with an alternative and legally registered source of loans.

TaniHub has now partnered with over 30,000 smallholder farmers across the country and operates five distribution hubs across Indonesia as it plans to roll out three more hubs. The company serves over 5,000 business customers and 115,000 retail customers through its platform.

TaniHub is backed by Openspace Ventures, Intudo Ventures, Golden Gate Ventures, UOB Venture Management, Vertex Ventures, BRI Ventures and Tenaya Capital. The company raised additional $17M to its Series A round on Mar 31, 2020. This brings TaniHub's total funding to $29M to date.
