Strateos, formerly known as 3Scan, is a SaaS-based biotechnology company providing robotic solutions for life sciences.
Strateos' mission is to turn biology into an information technology, driven by data, computation, and high-throughput robotics with the goal of substantially advancing drug discovery.
Strateos was formed in 2019, with the merger between Transcriptic and 3Scan. The company is headquartered in Menlo Park, California.
Strateos has two primary products Cloud Lab Services and Command and Control Lab Software. Cloud Lab Services are powered by remote on-demand automated cloud labs that are accessible from a web browser that enable scientists around the world to easily access and control new technologies and drug discovery.

Strateos has signed on some 100 customers, including biotech firms like Amgen and Abbvie, synthetic biology company Ginkgo Bioworks and the federal Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or Darpa, for projects or software.
Strateos is backed by DCVC, Lux Capital, Eli Lilly & Co., and others. The company raised $56.1M in a Series B round on June 08, 2021. This brings Strateos' total funding to $101.8M to date. The new round valued the company at $200M post-money.
