Spotta is a specialist in pest control technology that has developed a totally revolutionary way to pre-empt and minimise the damage insect pests cause.

Spotta's technology allows our network of Pods to automatically identify and quantify pest infestations, even at very low populations.

Spotta's Bed Pod system is a totally revolutionary way to pre-empt and minimise the damage bed bugs can cause to guests, reputation and earnings for hotels and other lodging providers. 

 

Spotta utilizes artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things in its technology. Its Bed Pod uses image processing to identify bugs and discern whether they are bed bugs, before sending an alert to a hotel's housekeeping department.

 

Spotta has raised €1M ($1.18M) in a Seed funding round on July 28, 2020. Backers included Cambridge Angels, REMUS, Marlet Capital, Wren Capital and the Angel CoFund.
