Siren a spin off of the Data Intensive Infrastructure research group at NUIG, is an investigative intelligence solutions provider.
Siren provides the leading Investigative Intelligence platform to some of the world’s largest and most complex organizations to derive business value adding insights from their data.
Siren was founded in 2014 by Giovanni Tummarello, together with cofounder Dr. Renaud Delbru. The company is headquartered in Galway, Ireland, with offices in Dublin, Cambridge, UK; Bordeaux, France; Trento, Italy and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Siren's mission is to build these capabilities, and make them easily accessible to these organizations. Siren ships with components tailor made for scientific data visualization, among them interactive scatterplots, heatmaps, and probability density functions.
Siren's Platform provides a unique combination of search, business intelligence, big data, link analysis and knowledge representation which advances the way organizations address some of the world’s most important data driven problems.
Siren’s Investigate deploys atop structured and unstructured data stores, analyzing database indices and external systems to deliver domain-specific visualizations with relational navigation. And it taps algorithms to spotlight only significant connections in a graph, with support for things like rankings and fuzzy and phonetic search.
Siren's solutions are being deployed across sectors including Finance Services, Life Sciences, Law Enforcement and Operational Intelligence. Some of its customers include Capita’s Pay360, Magellan Health, AstraZeneca, BNY Mellon, Masergy, and DXC Technology.
Siren is backed by DVI Equity Partners, Frontline Ventures, Enterprise Ireland and others. The company raised $10M from a "Series A" financing on Nov 14, 2019. This latest round brings Siren's total funding to $14M to date.
