ShopBack is a Singaporean-headed e-commerce startup that utilises the cashback reward program. 

ShopBack allows online shoppers to take a portion of their cash back when they buy products through the service. They also provide discount coupons and voucher codes for online shopping. 

ShopBack was founded in August 2014 by Henry Chan & Joel Leong. The company is headquartered in Singapore, Singapore with an additional office in Jakarta, Indonesia. ShopBack has now scaled to 7 countries in less than 4 years.


ShopBack also provide discount coupons and voucher codes for online shopping. It is currently affiliated with over 1,300 retailers from all over the world, including online retail giants Taobao, Zalora, Lazada, Uber, Grab, Shopee, Tokopedia, and eBay.

ShopBack had its working space at Blk71, under the tenure of NUS Enterprise. They are supported by NUS Enterprise in the form of infrastructure and resources under their incubation programme.

ShopBack has also collaborated and partnered with various international and regional organisations. The list includes OCBC Bank, Starhub, EZ-Link, Singapore Committee for UN Women, Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Globe Telecom, AirAsia, Maybank, and Packet One Networks.


ShopBack is backed by investors including Temasek, Credit Saison, Blue Sky, AppWorks, Intouch Holdings, Aetius Capital, 33 Capital, SoftBank Ventures Korea, Singtel Innov8, Qualgro, East Ventures and others. The company raised $75M in a Series B extension round on Mar 12, 2020. This brings ShopBack's total funding to $160M to date.
