Qoala works with leading insurers including AXA Mandiri, Tokio Marine, Great Eastern to offer customers cover against phone display damage, e-commerce logistics and hotel-quality checks. The startup maintains partnership with several e-commerce firms including Grabkios, JD.ID, Shopee and Tokopedia and hotel and travel booking firms PegiPegi and RedBus. 

 

Qoala is backed by Sequoia India, Flourish Ventures, Kookmin Bank Investments, Centauri Fund, MassMutual Ventures Southeast Asia and others. The company raised $13.5M in a Series A round on Apr 28, 2020. This brings Qoala's total funding to $16.5M to date.
