Pliops

Pliops is a technology innovator focused on making data centers run faster and more efficiently.

Pliops is creating a new category of product that enables cloud and enterprise data centers to access data up to 50X faster with 1/10th of the computational load and power consumption.

Pliops was founded in 2017 by Uri Beitler, Moshe Twitto, and Aryeh Mergi. The company is headquartered in Ramat Gan, Israel, with an office in San Jose, California.

Pliops uses innovative, patented data structures and algorithms to eliminate data amplification and enable consistently high I/O performance, capacity, and endurance – reaching up to 100x faster data access with just a fraction of the computational load and power consumption.

Pliops' Extreme Data Processor (XDP) radically simplifies the way data is processed and flash is managed. Pliops overcomes storage inefficiencies to massively accelerate performance and dramatically reduce overall infrastructure costs for data-hungry applications.

Pliops' PSP optimizes a broad range of workloads implemented using either the current ubiquitous block interface or an easily integrated application native key-value interface for even higher performance.

Pliops is backed by Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT), NVIDIA, Intel Capital, State of Mind Ventures (SOMV), Viola Ventures, SoftBank Ventures Asia, SK hynix, Lip-Bu Tan Chairman of Walden International, and others. The company raised $100M in Series D round on Aug 16, 2022. This brings Pliops' total funding to $205M to date.
