PassiveLogic

PassiveLogic is a startup developing a platform to autonomously control building systems.

PassiveLogic's mission is to make buildings work for you not the other way around.

PassiveLogic was founded in 2016 by Troy Harvey and Jeremy Fillingim. The company is headquartered in Holladay, Utah.

PassiveLogic has developed a product ecosystem that enables autonomous systems from development to deployment. PassiveLogic's software environment, Autonomy Studio, allows users to build models by simply drawing.

PassiveLogic's software generates a physics-based digital twin, in a new description language called Quantum. These applications deploy within PassiveLogic's control hardware, the Hive, a scalable automation platform.

PassiveLogic's approach demonstrated 30 percent energy savings and 90 percent labor savings in programming, installation, and commissioning compared to conventional solutions.

PassiveLogic is backed by Addition, Brookfield Growth, nVentures, Keyframe Capital, RET Ventures, Era Ventures, A/O Proptech, NREP, and others. The company raised an additional $15M in new financing on Sep 20, 2022. This brings PassiveLogic's total funding to $83.2M to date.
