Lynk Global, formerly known as UbiquitiLink, is a commercial space startup providing mobile connectivity for everyone, everywhere.

Lynk’s technology allows standard cell phones, without any changes in hardware or software, to be connected everywhere, seamlessly shifting from a terrestrial tower to a satellite overhead.

Lynk was founded in 2017 by Charles Miller, Margo Deckard, and Tyghe Speidel. The company is headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia.

Lynk has successfully completed initial space-to-ground tests of the fundamental technology required to provide connectivity for cell phone users virtually anywhere on the globe using low-earth-orbit nanosatellites.

Lynnk's breakthrough technology provides universal global connectivity directly to standard cell phones using a network of low-earth-orbit nanosatellites. The Lynk service also provides a safety net for people working in remote locations — in the future anybody will be able to use 911 from anywhere.

Lynk proved its patented technology through a series of demonstration missions, receiving regulatory approval for testing in 15 countries. Lynk Tower 1, Lynk’s first commercial-ready satellite, launched in April 2022.

Lynk is backed by Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Fund, One Way Ventures, Virginia Venture Partners, Avonlea Capital, Blazar Ventures, and others. The company raised $1M in new financing on Jul 06, 2022. This brings Lynk's total funding to $17M to date.
