Language I/O is a provider of a software solution enabling real-time communication with customers in any language over any channel.

Language I/O uses a unique combination of human and machine translation to automate the translation of customer support content such as FAQs, emails and chat within CRMs such as Oracle, Salesforce and Zendesk.

Language I/O was co-founded in 2011 by Heather Morgan Shoemaker and Kaarina Kvaavik. The company is headquartered in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

 

Language I/O's platform allows customers to provide real-time customer support in more than 100 languages, ensuring that company-specific terms are accurately translated through its proprietary core technology.

 

Language I/O's software is currently focused on translation across all e-support channels including email, articles, chat and social messaging among others.  

 

Language I/O is accessible directly via API and integrates with all major CRMs, including Salesforce, Oracle and Zendesk. Customers include Constant Contact, Shutterstock, and CBS Interactive, among others.

 

Language I/O is backed by Omega Venture Partners, Gutbrain Ventures, PBJ Capital, Golden Seeds, Caruso Ventures, and others. The company raised $6.5M in Series A round on Jan 11, 2022. This brings Language I/O's total funding to $12M to date.
