L1ght was founded in 2018 by Zohar Levkovitz and Ron Porat. The company is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, with an office in San Francisco, California.

L1ght has raised $15M in a Seed round on Feb 25, 2020. The ivestment was backed by Mangrove Capital Partners, Tribeca Venture Partners, and Western Technology Investment.
