Kyash currently offers a prepaid-debit based mobile wallet app that allows consumers to make payments at Visa merchants and peer to peer transfers. The firm has also set its sights on attaining a banking licence which would allow it to offer current accounts and money remittance services.
Kyash is backed by Goodwater Capital, Mitsubishi UFJ Capital, Greenspring Associates, Greyhound Capital, Altos Ventures and others. The company raised $45M in a Series C round on Mar 31, 2020. This brings Kyash's total funding to $73M to date.
