The company's patented reconfigurable technology allows our solutions to adapt in real-time to audio, 2D, and 3D image recognition application needs, and support mainstream AI frameworks and CNN models.

 

Kneron recently launched its first auto-grade semiconductors for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicles. The startup’s chips are “reconfigurable”, meaning they combine the flexibility of software and the high speed of the hardware.

 

Kneron currently has 30 enterprise customers. The company has been forming deep alliances with industry partners. In May 2021, Kneron agreed to buy image signal processor Vatics from Vivotek.

 

Kneron is backed by Horizon Ventures, Alibaba, Qualcomm, Sequoia, Foxconn, Lite-On Technology, Delta Power Solutions, Alltek, PalPilot, Sand Hill Angels, and others. The company raised $25M in a new round on Dec 21, 2021. This brings Kneron's total funding to $115M to date.
