KATSANA was founded in 2014 by Syed Ahmad Fuqaha and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with an additional office in Wilmington, Delaware, USA.

KATSANA is on a mission to disrupt motor insurance by enabling in-depth analysis of driver behaviors, scoring them according to risk profile, and brings tangible rewards to good vehicle owners.

KATSANA's first foray into the GPS tracking market was through KATSANA Track™, a consumer-oriented GPS/GNSS tracking system aiming at bringing advanced security & protection capability to the masses. The cmpany also launched KATSANA Fleet™ to empower enterprises with a greater insight of daily operations by providing an in-depth analytics of driver behaviors, scoring and summarizing a wealth of data into understandable and actionable inforamtion.

 

KATSANA contributes to the society through KATSANA Shuttle™, a public bus tracking system that enable university students to track location of transmit/shuttle buses in real time. The company has collected over 968,000,000 kms of driving data, with over 1 million km collected daily. Thus far it has 98.2% successful recovery rate of stolen cars with 62% reduction of risky behaviors over 12 months. Currently over 2,600 companies are using KATSANA's GPS Tracking System and more are switching to KATSANA®.
