Inspiration Mobility was founded in 2021 by Josh Green. The company is headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia.

Inspiration operates Inspiration Fleet, the world’s first EV-only Fleet Management Company (eFMC) which finances EVs and provides fleet management services for light-duty fleet businesses.

The Inspiration Energy provide integrated solutions that reduce the cost and complexity of electrification for fleets. Inspiration combines their charging infrastructure with other technologies and energy programs to minimize the cost of charging and maximize the share of electricity from renewable sources. 

Inspiration is backed by Macquarie Asset Management, ArcLight Capital Partners, and Ferrovial, S.A. The comppany raise $215M in a new round on May 18, 2022. This brings Inspiration Mobility's total funding to $415M to date.
