HowGood develops markets and operates a program in grocery stores designed to provide a sustainability score for food products using up to 60 industry-specific indicators.

HowGood was co-founded in 2007 by Alexander Gillett and Arthur Gillett. The company is headquartered in High Falls, New York.

HowGood is backed by FirstMark Capital, Contour Venture Partners, Titan Grove, Danone Manifesto Ventures, Trailhead Capital, and others. The company raised $12.5M in new financing on May 18, 2022. This brings HowGood's total funding to $24.7M to date.
