HealthifyMe was founded in 2012 by Tushar Vashisht, Mathew Cherian, and Sachin Shenoy. The company is headquartered in Bengaluru, India, with an office in Singapore.
HealthifyMe launched "Ria", the world’s first AI-powered coach, driven by over 200 million food and workout logs. Ria has been devised in a way that it can answer questions around nutrition and fitness via both audio and text in more than 10 languages.
HealthifyMe is also retrofitting its coach-facing system with Generative AI to create a strong Nutritionist and Trainer “Copilot”. The company also launched "Smart Plans" in which users get a customised diet plan recommendation from Ria.
HealthifyMe claims to be used by over 35 million users and has more than 1,000 coaches across India and Southeast Asia to support these users. HealthifyMe also works in partnership with various medical institutions such as Medanta, Apollo Hospitals and Manipal Hospitals.

The company raised $30M in a pre-Series D round on Jun 07, 2023. This brings HealthifyMe's total funding to $130.1M to date.
