Halodoc was founded in 2016 by Jonathan Sudharta. The company is headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia. Halodoc operates in 30 cities across Indonesia.

Halodoc brings together two formerly separate businesses, one for tele-consultation with healthcare professionals and one for the delivery of pharmaceuticals in 30 cities across Indonesia, all through its mobile application. The two medical services were formally merged under the Halodoc brand name in May 2017.

Halodoc’s innovative technology, nimble services, and patient focus enable a host of solutions including 24/7 doctor tele consultation via chat, voice or video; medicine purchase & delivery; lab services at home; and strong customer support.

 

Halodoc currently has 20,000 doctors and 1,000 pharmacies in its partner network. It currently has about 2 million users. Halodoc has teamed with more than 1,400 hospitals and healthcare providers in a nationwide partnership to improve the hospital visit experience.

 

Halodoc is backed by Allianz X and Bill, Melinda Gates Foundation, UOB Venture Management, Singtel Innov8, Korea Investment Partners and others. The company raised $65M in a Series B financing on Mar 04, 2019. This latest round brings Halodoc's total funding to $100M to date.

 

Halodoc is the 2018 Forbes Indonesia Choice Award winner and Galen Growth’s 2018 Most Innovative HealthTech Startup in Asia.
