Einride Pods are autonomous, all-electric transport vehicles equipped with specialized modular trailers for pallets, timber, perishable goods, and anything else you need to ship. Its model is twofold. It works with other logistics companies to help introduce its self-driving vehicles into their fleets, including a partnership with shipping logistics provider DB Schenker.
Einride is backed by EQT Ventures, NordicNinja VC, Ericsson Ventures, Norrsken Foundation, Plum Alley Investments, and Plug and Play Ventures. The company raised $25M from a "Series A" financing on Oct 10, 2019. The round brings Einride's total funding to $34.1M to date.
