Edukoya

Edukoya is an education technology company that connects African learners with the digital curriculum content and on-demand teachers for real-time online education.

Edukoya's vision is to redefine learning for a new generation by connecting every African to high quality education.

Edukoya was founded in 2021 by Honey Ogundeyi. The company is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.

Edukoya builds online education content and offers online tutoring for students and their parents. The platform offers a range of features such as a 24/7 exam preparation and homework help, a question bank with step-by-step workings and personalized performance tracking systems.

Edukoya bundled practice tests for both entrance exams (about 20,000) into its mobile application. The company also provides step-by-step solutions to “solve tough problems on past examination papers,” and students can connect to experienced tutors to help them out whenever they are stuck.

Edukoya claims that 96% of students using its platform received higher marks during recent tests.

Edukoya has raised $3.5M in a pre-Seed funding on Dec 15, 2021. The round was led by Target Global, with participation from Babs Ogundeyi, Musty Mustapha, Paystack CEO Shola Akinlade, Stash founders Brandon Krieg & Ed Robinson, among others.
