D-Wave's latest system, the D-Wave 2000Q™ quantum computer, is a 2000 qubit computing system. D-Wave’s systems are used by major corporations, universities and government agencies such as Lockheed Martin, Google, NASA, USRA, the University of Southern California, and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
D-Wave also launched Leap cloud service. Today Leap provides real-time access to the D-Wave 2000Q system, as well as D-Wave’s 5000-qubit system, Advantage, launched in September 2020. The Advantage quantum system touts more than 5,000 qubits and 15-way qubit connectivity.
D-Wave is backed by Canada’s Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF), Fidelity Investments, Goldman Sachs, DFJ, PSP Investments, NEC Corporation and others. The company raised $40M in new financing on Mar 11, 2021. This brings D-Wave's total funding to $256.2M to date.
