Confluera

Confluera is a cybersecurity startup helping organizations find sophisticated security attacks going on inside of corporate infrastructures.

Confluera is industry’s first Real-time Attack Interception and Defense Platform built to deterministically detect and stop attackers navigating your infrastructure.

Confluera was founded in 2019 by Abhijit Ghosh, Niloy Mukherjee, and Bipul Sinha. The company is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with an office in Austin, Texas.

Confluera redefines the cybersecurity paradigm by introducing real-time interception and response capabilities and turns security analysts into cyber defenders.

Confluera eliminates narrow visibility from point solutions to remove blind spots and integrate security across the infrastructure for a 360 degree view into attacks as they progress. It combines the power of purpose-built behavioral analytics and anomaly detections with third-party signals to identify tactics, techniques & procedures (MITRE ATT&CK) used by attackers.

Confluera is changing the way security is practiced today, from a post-facto incident response to a real-time threat interception. Confluera’s capabilities bring much-needed self-directed intelligence and independence, which helps create the crime scene as it is happening, so security operators can focus on response.

Confluera is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Icon Ventures, Harpoon Ventures, John W. Thompson and others. The company raised $20M in a Series B round on May 19, 2020. This brings Confluera's total funding to $29M to date.
