Command E

Command E is an easy keyboard shortcut to open any document, contact, file or record from the cloud.

Command E provides search and navigation across the tools people use at work.

Command E was founded in 2018 by Ben Standefer and Tom Uebel. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California.

Command E has been coalescing over the past several years led by consumer-friendly, highly customizable software products like AirTable, Notion and Figma. As new challengers seem to pop up daily, a new crop of enterprise tools has emerged that simply focus on ensuring that all of these disparate tools can talk to one another.

Command E builds productivity software. Its desktop application provides search and navigation across Google Drive, Slack, Salesforce, Gmail, Dropbox, LinkedIn, and 20+ other work tools it integrates with.

Command E has raaised $4.3M in a Seed round on May 20, 2020. Backers included Bain Capital Ventures, Craft Ventures, Amplify Partners, Abstract Ventures, and Upside Partnership as well as Scott Belsky, Jason Calacanis, and Rahul Vohra.
