Cheetah

Cheetah is an e-commerce platform designed for independent restaurants to order wholesale food and supplies for next-day delivery.

Cheetah's mission is to help its customers thrive, by supplying them with everything they need to run their busines.

Cheetah was founded in 2015 by Na’ama Moran, Christopher Elliott and Alon Har-Tal. The company is headquartered in Pleasanton, California, with an office in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Cheetah acts as a wholesale supplier for restaurants, coordinating bulk delivery orders via its mobile app and fleet of refrigerated trucks (which are driven by full-time employees rather than independent contractors).

Cheetah's newly offered service called Cheetah For Me, offers bakery items to beverages, dairy, meat, poultry, seafood, fresh produce, condiments, snacks and cleaning supplies to individuals to buy, and distributes those orders via a selection of pick-up points.

Cheetah has turned its refrigerated trucks into mobile fulfillment centers whereby consumers can place their order through the Cheetah mobile app and pick it up from the truck. Cheetah serves a little under 1,000 restaurant customers across the Bay Area.

Cheetah is backed by ICONIQ Capital, Eclipse Ventures, Manna Tree, Hanaco Ventures, AltaIR Capital, Sator Grove Holdings, Floodgate Fund, and others. The company raised $60M in Series C round on Jan 26, 2022. This brings Cheetah's total funding to $127.7M to date.
