AlphaSense was founded in 2011 by Jack Kokko and Raj Neervannan, with institutional and private venture funding. The companyis headquartered in NYC with offices in London, Helsinki, San Francisco, and Boston.

AlphaSense launched its search engine utilizing natural language processing to search through all major filings, earnings calls, conference transcripts and other related documents. In 2012, the search engine added company investor relations presentations for the Russell 3000 constituents to their database of searchable content.

AlphaSense is a specialized, web-based financial and company search engine providing users with the ability to search, navigate, annotate and analyze corporate filings and other research documents. Users can set alerts on saved searches and receive instant notification when research, news, press announcements or new data points are available on companies, industries or any keywords of interest.

 

AlphaSense is backed by investor including Innovation Endeavors, Tribeca Venture Partners, Quantum Strategic Partners, & Soros Fund Management among others. The company raised $50M in it's latest funding of a "Series B" round on Jul 17, 2019. This brings AlphaSense's total funding to $87.1M to-date.
