Bigbasket is an online food and grocery store. It is India's largest online supermarket delivering straight to your home.

The bigbasket app brings customer fresh produce, favorite products in preferred brands, kitchen needs, essential home supplies and more, through this online, one-stop grocery store. 

Bigbasket was founded in 2011 by Hari Menon, Vipul Parekh, Abhinay Choudhari, VS Sudhakar & VS Ramesh. The company has it's headquarter in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

 

In 2017 BigBasket partnered with MUMBAI-owned Bengal Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited (BCPL) to deliver its industrial chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and home products to its customers in Kolkata. In April 2017, BigBasket partnered with SnapBizz, a retail technology firm to automate supply chain and inventory management for local grocery stores.

 

Bigbasket is backed by leading investors including Alibaba Group, Bessemer Venture Partners, Sands Capital Ventures, Mirae Asset Global Investments and others.

 

Bigbasket was valued at a staggering $2.1B in it's latest "Series F" funding of a $150M in Feb 8, 2019. The company has also acquired Delyver.com, Raincan, Morning Cart & KWIK24 to date.
