Wild Earth

Wild Earth is a technology startup developing clean protein pet foods that are healthier for your pet, better for the environment, and more humane than conventional products.

Wild Earth delivers the world’s most responsible high protein dog food to your doorstep.

Wild Earth was founded in 2017 by Ron Shigeta, Ryan Bethencourt, and Ernie Ward. The commpany is headquartered in Berkeley, California.

Wild Earth has been one of the early leaders in creating pet food from plant-based ingredients. With products like Clean Protein dog food (which uses pea and potato protein) and Superfood Dog Treats With Koji (Koji is a fungi protein used in fermented food in Asia).

Wild Earth’s current dog food products are made from yeast, pea protein, chickpeas, sweet potatoes, and other plant-based ingredients. Its fungi-based products require dramatically fewer resources than farming animals to produce the same nutritional value.
