Wallbox is a smart charging company that designs, develops and manufactures intelligent charging solutions for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids for both home and business use.

Wallbox's mission is to liberate the world from fossil fuels.

Wallbox was founded in 2015 by Enric Asunción and Eduard Castañeda. The company is headquartered in Barcelona, Catalonia, with an office in Madrid, Spain. Wallbox currently has subsidiaries in Germany, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, France, United States (Silicon Valley) and China.

Wallbox aims to accelerate the change into a more sustainable way of transportation by providing a comprehensive, simple and effective solution for the charging issues among electric vehicles.

Wallbox has developed Pulsar Plus, an entirely new charger built with features specifically for the North American EV market. Compatible with all EVs, Pulsar Plus is available in two configurations--48Amp (hardwired) and 40Amp, which can be hardwired or connected via an included NEMA 14-50 plug.

 

Wallbox currently sells to more than 50 countries and has 350 staff spread across offices in Europe, Asia, and America, as well as two factories of its own.

 

Wallbox is backed by Cathay Innovation, Wind Ventures, Endeavor Catalyst, Iberdrola, Seaya Ventures and others. The company raised €33M ($39.9M) in a Series B round on Feb 01, 2021. This brings Wallbox's total funding to €56M to date.
