Toss also launched an investment service called Toss Securities, designed to make stock trading accessible to new investors who shy away from traditional brokerages. Over the past three months, it has signed up more than 3.5 million users.
Toss is backed by Alkeon Capital, Sequoia Capital China, Bessemer Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins, KDB, Altos Ventures, Greyhound Capital, and others. The company raised $410M in Series H round on Jun 23, 2021. This brings Toss' total funding to $842.2M to date. The new round nearly tripled the company's valuation to $7.4B post-money, from the previous $2.6B gained from a Series G raised in Aug 2020.
