Vinted is a Lithuanian online marketplace and community that allows its users to sell, buy, and swap secondhand clothing items and accessories.

Vinted was founded in 2008 by Milda Mitkutė and Justas Janauskas. The company is based in Vilnius, Lithuania, with offices in Berlin, Warsaw, and Prague.

 

Vinted helps its members sell and buy second-hand clothes and accessories from each other, making shopping a mobile and social experience through one-on-one members' interactions in its community.

 

Vinted has operations across 13 markets — France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Luxembourg, UK and the U.S.

 

Vinted currently has some 45 million users, with 200 million products live on its platform. Vinted gets 20 thousand members joining every day. 

 

Vinted is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, EQT Growth, Sprints Capital, Insight Venture Partners, Accel, Burda Principal Investments and others. The company raised €250M ($303M) in Series F round on May 12, 2021. This brings Vinted's total funding to $563.3M to date. The latest round pushed the company's valuation to $4.5B post-money.
