Veo Technologies

Veo is a portable and affordable solution that enables sports teams to record and analyse matches and training sessions without the need for a camera operator.

Veo's vision is to democratise the video broadcasting and analytics that today only are available for the professional teams.

Veo was founded in 2015 by Keld Reinicke and Henrik Teisbæk. The company is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, with offices in Miami and London.

Veo has designed a video camera and cloud-based subscription service to record and then automatically pick out highlights of games, which it then hosts on a platform for its customers to access and share that video content.

Veo’s portable cameras automatically follow ball movement during academy training sessions to help evaluate youth players and enable human videographers to instead take notes for coaches. The cameras also offer livestreaming, automated highlight clipping, and a software to analyze player performance.

Veo surpassed one million recorded matches in March. Veo’s clients span more than 15,000 clubs across 80 countries, including teams in Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1. Veo is also the title sponsor of the KDB Cup, and NBA distributed Veo’s cameras for scouting purposes prior to its 2020 draft.

Veo is backed by ATP, Courtside Ventures, Ventech, SEED Capital, Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker, and others. The company raised $80M in Series C round on Jun 07, 2022. This brings Veo's total funding to $113.1M to date.
