Rimac Group is an automotive company that brings together the most advanced hypercars in the world with a globally renowned team developing high-performance electrification technologies for the global OEMs.

Rimac Group develops and produces electric sports cars, drivetrains and battery systems.

Rimac was founded in 2009 by Mate Rimac. The company is headquartered in Sveta Nedelja, Croatia, with offices in Split and Osijek.


Rimac merged its hypercar division with French supercar maker Bugatti in November. The resulting company, called Bugatti Rimac, is developing the $2.5 million Rimac Nevera hypercar, a 1,914-horsepower EV that it claims can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 1.85 seconds.


Rimac's flagship, the Concept_One, was entirely designed, developed and manufactured in-house. In 2021 Rimac revealed its second tech machine on four electric motors – Rimac Nevera, the fastest accelerating production car on the planet.


Rimac has worked with many global OEMs including Porsche, Hyundai, Kia, CUPRA, Automobili Pininfarina, Koenigsegg, and Aston Martin.


Rimac is backed by Porsche, Softbank Vision Fund 2, Goldman Sachs, Mate Rimac, InvestIndustrial, and others. The company raised €500M ($536M) in Series D round on May 31, 2022. This brings Rimac's total funding to $885M to date. The latest round valued the company at a €2B ($2.2B) post-money.
