Otipy, a new company formed by Crofarm’s, is a business to business to consumer (B2B2C) social commerce platform for fresh produce that includes vegetables, fruits, dairy and other grocery items.

Otipy was founded in 2020 by Varun Khurana. The company is headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.

 

Otipy works with more than 20,000 community leaders and fulfills more than 15,000 orders across cities such as Delhi-NCR (Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Bhiwadi), Sonipat, Meerut.

 

Otipy uses AI-based demand prediction tool to collect historical data to procure the produce, facilitates on-demand harvesting and thereby ensures delivery of fresh produce on the same day. It also uses CRM tools on WhatsApp to interact with the consumers. 

 

Otipy's farm-to-fork delivery model optimises for freshness by procuring directly from farmers and delivering fresh produce to consumers in less than 12 hours. Otipy has over 500,000 customers across Delhi-NCR, as well as tier 2 and 3 towns like Sonepat, Meerut, and Bhiwadi.

 

Otipy is backed by Westbridge Capital, SIG, Omidyar Network India, Innoven Capital, Inflection Point Ventures, Pravega, FactorE, and others. The company raised $32M in Series B round on Mar 07, 2022. This brings Otipy's total funding to $43.2M to date.
