Neuron Mobility

Neuron is the fastest growing shared electric scooter operator and micromobility technology developer in Asia Pacific.

Neuron Mobility's mission is to partner with cities to connect people and places in a safe, convenient and fun way.

Neuron Mobility was founded in 2016 by Zachary Wang and Harry Yu. The company is headquartered in Singapore, with operations in cities across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, South Korea and Canada.

Neuron's e-scooters are designed in-house and manufactured to a commercial standard to perform better, and last much longer than off-the-shelf models. It introduced the world’s first Helmet Lock, which secures a safety helmet to the e-scooters between trips.

Neuron maintains a proprietary supply chain for its patented commercial-grade scooter, and uses real-time analytics to power its operational deployment. Neuron actively seeks to help cities build smart cities of the future.

Neuron announced its in-house scooter ADAS technology in Nov 2021, which uses high-accuracy location tech and rapid geofence detection in order to detect and correct unsafe riding behavior, like aggressive swerving, skidding, curb jumping, tandem riding and sidewalk riding.

Neuron is backed by Square Peg, GSR Ventures, EDBI, SeedPlus, SEEDS Capital, 500 Startups, Ace Capital, and others. The company raised $43.5M in Series B round on Apr 27, 2022. This brings Neuron's total funding to $77.7M to date.
