MycoTechnology's flagship product, ClearTaste®, is a versatile and multifunctional ingredient that can improve food products by blocking bitterness and improving taste defects. Its PureTaste® Protein, is a high-quality, clean-tasting, complete vegan protein that has a nutritional profile unlike any other plant-based protein on the market.

 

MycoTechnology also launched FermentIQ, a plant-based meat analog ingredient, made by fermenting pea and rice protein with shiitake mycelium. The startup claims that FermentIQ can enhance the taste, functionality, and nutritiousness of plant-based protein products.

 

MycoTechnology is backed by Greenleaf Foods, Cibus Fund, SPC, S2G Ventures, Oman Investment Authority, Evolution Partners, Rich Products Ventures, Tyson Ventures, Nourish Ventures, Rage Capital, and others. The company raised $85M in Series E round on Mar 31, 2022. This brings MycoTechnology's total funding to $206.6M to date.
