Kovi is a mobility startup that is making car ownership more inclusive, human and efficient through technology and financial innovation.

Kovi's uses state-of-the-art technologies to provide access to more straightforward, cost-effective and secure solutions.

Kovi was founded in 2018 by Adhemar Milani Neto and João Costa. The company is based in Sau Paulo, SP, Brazil.

Kovi rents vehicles to on-demand drivers who work for ride-hailing companies such as Uber, Didi and Lyft. It then expanded from on-demand drivers to food delivery workers.

Kovi operates its “all inclusive” car subscription model under the premise that more people in Latin America would work for these companies if they could afford to operate the necessary vehicle.

Kovi now has more than 11,000 users in Brazil and Mexico. The company has 12,000 cars in its fleet and aims to add another 20,000 cars by the end of 2021.

Kovi is backed by Valor Capital Group, Prosus Ventures, Global Founders Capital, Quona, Broadhaven Ventures, GFC, Monashees, UVC Investimentos, PIPO, and others. The company raised $104M in Series B round on Aug 31, 2021. This brings Kovi's total funding to $164.5M to date.
