KeyMe is a technology company that provides an app for copying keys and robotic kiosks for new key fabrication.

KeyMe is the most accurate, secure, and convenient way to copy keys with over 1,000 US key copying kiosks in major retailers & a mobile app.

KeyMe was founded in 2012 by Greg Marsh and is based in New York, New York.

KeyMe’s mobile app has users digitally scan their keys, the scans of which are then stored in the cloud. That data is then sent to physical kiosks, where new copies of those keys can be fabricated.

KeyMe offers key duplication and locksmith services at over 3,000 locations in retailers across 49 states (up from 2,300 locations and 46 states as of April 2019), including Albertsons, Autozone, Bed Bath & Beyond, Giant Eagle, Ikea, Kmart, Kroger, Menard’s Rite Aid, Sears and Kmart, and 7-Eleven.

 

KeyMe is backed by top leading investors including Battery Ventures, BlackRock, Brentwood Associates, RiverPark Ventures, White Star Capital, Comcast Ventures, QuestMark Partners and others. The comany raised $35M in a Series E financing on Jan 14, 2020. This new round brings KeyMe's total funding to $190.8M to date.
