Multiverse

Multiverse, formerly known as WhiteHat, is an edtech startup unlocking the many possible paths to a successful and fulfilling career.

Multiverse's mission is to accelerate incredible careers and develop a diverse group of future leaders.

Multiverse was founded in 2016 by Euan Blair and Booth Blair. The company is headquartered in London and New York.

Multiverse’s basic approach is to pair human coaches — employed by the startup itself — with apprentices and then embed them together with organizations that are taking on the apprentices.

Multiverse apprenticeships offer tuition-free, paid programs in areas including Software Engineering, Digital Marketing and Data Analytics that typically last 12-15 months. With a unique combination of on-the-job training and education, professional apprenticeships help individuals jump start a career or enter an entirely new field while earning a competitive salary.

Multiverse currently trains professional apprentices with over 500 organizations globally, including Cisco, Verizon, Visa and Box in the US. The Multiverse community has now reached over 8,000 apprentices globally.

Multiverse is backed by General Catalyst, GV, StepStone Group, Index Ventures, D1 Capital Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, BOND, Audacious Ventures, Founders Circle Capital, Latitude, and others. The company raised $220M in Series D round on Jun 08, 2022. This brings Multiverse's total funding to $420.6M to date.
