Ibotta is a mobile technology company that enables users with its smartphone app to earn cash back on in-store and mobile purchases with receipt and/or purchase verification.

Ibotta develops apps that pay users for reading about products on their phone or tablet before buying them in affiliated retail stores.

Ibotta was founded in 2011 by Bryan Leach and is based in Denver, Colorado.

Ibotta partners with leading brands and retailers to offer real cash back on groceries, travel, electronics, clothing, gifts, home and office supplies, dining out, and much more.

Ibotta also has cash back and rebates on alcohol (wine, beer, and spirits) that can be purchased at bars, restaurants, and liquor and grocery stores.

 

Ibotta's app is available on both iOS and Android devices and is available only in the United States as of October 2016. It claims to work at over 500,000 locations within the United States.
