IbanFirst was founded in 2013 by Pierre-Antoine Dusoulier, former Saxo Bank CEO and celebrated French Fintech entrepreneur. The company is based in Brussels, Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest, Belgium with offices in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, Brussels and Dijon.
iBan's platform enables users to open an international account that provides access to foreign exchange and international payments services, which include receive and send payments with experts, convert currencies at market rate, and manage foreign currency flows optimally.
iBanFirst is the only online service that creates personalised IBANs in 25 currencies. Since its creation, iBanFirst has convinced 4000 customers for whom the company has processed 100,000 transactions, for a total volume of over 6 billion euros in payments in 2019.
iBanFirst is backed by Elaia, Bpifrance’s Large Venture fund, Serena, Breega, Xavier Niel and others. The company raised $23.8M (€21M) in Series C round on June 11, 2020. This brings iBanFirst's total funding to $52.2M (€46M) to date.
