Halodoc brings together two formerly separate businesses, one for tele-consultation with healthcare professionals and one for the delivery of pharmaceuticals in 30 cities across Indonesia, all through its mobile application.
Halodoc’s innovative technology, nimble services, and patient focus enable a host of solutions including 24/7 doctor tele consultation via chat, voice or video; medicine purchase & delivery; lab services at home; and strong customer support.
Halodoc currently partners with more than 20,000 doctors that are available for consultation via voice and video calls, or chat. Patients can make bookings for appointments at about 2,000 hospitals, labs, and clinics.
Halodoc runs an e-pharmacy service, where users can order medicine from 4,000 drug stores. It also runs several vaccination centers in cities across Indonesia, in partnership with the Health Ministry and Gojek and vaccinated over 50,000 citizens in the first 23 days of the program.
Halodoc is backed by Allianz X, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Temasek, UOB Venture Management, Astra, Singtel Innov8, Korea Investment Partners and others. The company raised $80M in Series C round on Apr 21, 2021. This brings Halodoc's total funding to $180M to date.
