Generation Esports is a provider of an innovative platform for schools, businesses, clubs and communities alike to come together, engage and compete easily.

Generation Esports' focus is on creating a pipeline for students from middle school through college, legitimatizing esports as a pathway to higher education and real-world job opportunities.

Generation Esports was founded in 2012 by Mason Mullenioux, Aaron Hawkey, and Charles Reilly. The company is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri.

 

Generation Esports launched High School Esports League (aka HSEL), an organization dedicated to the growth of esports at the high school level. Through Generation Esports, the HSEL provides powerful new software to assist schools in managing new and existing esports programs in coaching and competition.

 

Generation Esports has multiple community and student esports initiatives, including the High School Esports League (HSEL). This a competitive gaming organization for high school students in North America, Australia, and New Zealand.

 

Generation Esports has partnered with 3,400 schools. Some of its partners include the Army National Guard, ASUS, Aim Lab, Intel, and the National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE).

 

Generation Esports has raised $10.8M in a Series A financing on Apr 14, 2021. The round was led by Altos Ventures, with participation from FJ Labs.
