GalaxySpace is a developer of micro-nano satellites designed to provide communication network service.

GalaxySpace provides low latency 5G satellite network infrastructure and services for automobiles, aircrafts, navigations and remote land transportations.

GalaxySpace was founded in 2016 by Xu Ming, Li Huibao, Zhang Shijie, Gao Qianfeng and Shen Ronghua. The company is headquartered in Haidian District, Beijing, China.

 

GalaxySpace develops products including power management systems, antenna release systems, and solar panels to serve in communication networks needs and also provides one-stop AI satellite launch services.

 

GalaxySpace successfully launched six low-Earth orbit (LEO) broadband communication satellites developed in a batch for the first time. These satellites formed China’s first LEO broadband communication test constellation, and became part of a test satellite internet network, nicknamed “Mini-Spider Constellation.”

 

GalaxySpace also offers user terminals, which communicate with the communication satellites and related systems to provide users access to high-speed internet connections.

 

GalaxySpace is backed by Gaorong Capital, Shunwei Capital, JIC Investment, Legend Capital, CCB International, Anhui Sanzhongyichuang Industry Development Fund, Hefei Industry Investment, Sincere Fund, and others. The company raised CN¥11B in Series D round on Sep 07, 2022. This brings GalaxySpace's total funding to $1.6B to date. The latest round valued the company at $1.58B post-money.
