Flybits

Flybits is a contextual data intelligence company which empowers financial institutions to connect with their customers more meaningfully through hyper-personalized experiences, powered by contextual data.

Flybits was born from recognition that humans are designed to make decisions using a multitude of inputs and sources of information.

Flybits was founded in 2013 by Hossein Rahnama, alongside with Gerti Dervishi. The company is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, with offices in Redwood City, California; New York; London and Dubai.

Flybits’ mission is to apply the power of context to the digital world to create experiences that are as individualized as one would find in real life.

Flybits' end-to-end platform assembles data and allows teams to orchestrate experiences without data science or technical know-how, with patent-protected AI and machine learning capabilities.

Flybits transforms disparate data into a cohesive ecosystem with real-time insights. The technology assembles a bank's proprietary customer data - such as bank account activities and time as a customer - with machine learning and external contextual data - such as propensity to consume and risk profiles - to deliver relevant and timely recommendations to customers.

Flybits is backed by Point72 Ventures, Mastercard, Citi Ventures, Reinventure, Portag3 Ventures and others. The company raised $35M in a Series C financing on Jul 16, 2019. This new round brings Flybits' total funding to $44.3M to date.
