Dana’s digital wallet has been part of the cross-border QR payments linkage between the central banks of Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia that occurred in February 2022.

 

Dana is used by consumers and merchants to pay bills, transfer money and open a bank account and processes an average of 10 million transactions per day. It was the most downloaded finance app in Indonesia in 2021.

 

DANA has over 115 million registered users in Indonesia. The company is also planning to expand its portfolio to include lending, wealth management and insurance services.

 

DANA is bakced by Ant Group, Emtek, Alibaba.com-owned Lazada Group, Sinar Mas, and others. The company raised $250M in new financing on Aug 10, 2022. This brings DANA's total funding to $554.5M to date. The latest round mints Dana a unicorn with a valuation of $1.13B post-money.
