Apna's eponymous Android app, available in multiple languages, features more than 70 communities today for skilled professionals such as carpenters, painters, field sales agents and many others.

 

Apna's platform is currently being used by more than 150,000 employers — including Zomato, Bharti AXA, Urban Company, BYJU’S, PhonePe, Burger King, Delhivery, Teamlease and G4S Global. The platform has over 5 million active jobs.

 

Apna is backed by Insight Partners, Tiger Global, Lightspeed India, Sequoia Capital India, Greenoaks Capital, Owl Ventures, Maverick Ventures, Rocketship VC, and others. The company raised $100M in Series C round on Sep 16, 2021. This brings Apna's total funding to $193.5M to date. The new round mints Apna a unicorn with a valuation of $1.1B post-money.
