AImotive

AImotive, formerly known as AdasWorks, is an autonomous vehicle technology company working towards Level 5 autonomous vehicles.

Aimotive develops an ecosystem of automated driving technologies, including self-driving software, an automotive simulator and neural network acceleration hardware.

AImotive was founded in 2015 by Laszlo Kishonti. The company is headquartered in Budapest, Budapest, Hungary, with an office in Japan and Mountain View, California.

AImotive is one of the largest independent automated driving technology providers in the world.

AImotive's holistic approach to driving automation tackles three main industry challenges: software, development and validation tools, and processing hardware. The company first created a prototype which it tested on the Hungarian Formula 1 Grand Prix track, Hungaroring. As of January 2018, the company tests its technology on Toyota, Citroen and Volvo models.

AImotive’s software is being used in a Kyocera camera for mass-market cars. ON Semiconductor is also using the software and sensor technology to build an intelligent sensor fusion system. And an unnamed carmaker is using AImotive’s software for automated driving.

AImotive is backed by Lead Ventures, Robert Bosch Venture Capital, B Capital Group, Prime Ventures, Inventure, Samsung Catalyst, Draper Associates and others. The company raised $20M in new round on June 22, 2020. This brings AImotive's total funding to $75.8M to date.
